If healthy relationships signify success, then how do you have a healthy relationship? 

You must know how to have healthy, productive conflict.

 

Easier said than done. ​We've all learned destructive conflict behaviors within our own families. We aren't taking courses on Conflict Management in school. We're human - when it comes to handling interpersonal workplace relationships, none of us are immune from being a guilty party. As leaders, we can attempt to be self aware of our dysfunctional behaviors, but we don’t always know how to fix them.

Everything DiSC Productive Conflict helps participants improve self-awareness around conflict behaviors. Rather than focus on a step-by-step process for conflict resolution, Everything DiSC Productive Conflict provides participants with techniques to curb destructive behaviors and effectively respond to conflict situations. Conflict situations escalate because of high emotions. This process applies a rational approach to an emotional situation, and gives you the freedom to find great solutions. 


Participants will:

  • Appreciate how their style of handling conflict affects the people around them

  • Learn how to “catch” themselves when going down a destructive conflict path

  • Learn how to reframe a conflict situation and choose more productive behaviors

  • Build a common language in the organization around appropriate conflict behavior

 

Program Components

  • Productive Conflict Profile: online assessment and 22-page report.

  • Facilitation Toolkit: half-day workshop includes two 90-minute modules and one 50-minute module, including fully-scripted facilitation dialogue to use with engaging activities and workplace, peer-to-peer focused video. Videos are embedded in the slideshow. Two additonal optional modules are available.

  • Note: The purpose of the workshop is to help participants improve self-awareness around conflict behaviors and to put them in a better position to respond productively when conflicts do arise. This is not a conflict-resolution program targeted at resolving a specific conflict situation.
